Paweł Tamborski, who has been on the board of Awbud since October 4th, has just been appointed its new CEO. At the same time, the company’s supervisory board dismissed its chairman, Wiesław Cholewa, who was delegated to temporarily hold the position of a member of the management board for a period of 3 months. Michał Feist became the new Chairman of the supervisory board.
New president with extensive experience
Paweł Tamborski has replaced the president of the company since 2014. Aneta Binkiewicz, who resigned from her post a few days earlier without giving any reason.
The new president of Awbuda is a graduate of the Poznań University of Economics. In his career to date, he has worked as Deputy Director of the Central Brokerage Office in Wielkopolski Bank Kredytowy or as Head of the Capital Markets Team for Central and Eastern Europe. He also worked for the Ministry of Treasury and was President of the Management Board of the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
Loss in H1 2019
In H1 2019 Awbud recorded a consolidated net loss of PLN 15.16m attributable to shareholders of the parent company, compared to a loss of PLN 3.56m a year earlier. Consolidated sales revenues were PLN 127.75m, compared to PLN 98.62m in H1 2018.
