The Management Board of Develia, one of the leading developers operating on the Polish market, informed on 4 December 2020 that the Supervisory Board of the company appointed Mr. Andrzej Oślizło to the Management Board, entrusting him with the function of the President. The former interim President, Paweł Ruszczak, has remained on the Company’s Management Board, where he will again take up the position of a Member of the Management Board for Financial Affairs.

Andrzej Oślizło is a graduate of the University of Economics in Katowice (major in Economics) and the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice (major in Computer Science). He completed MBA studies at the European University in Montreux, Switzerland. For over twenty years he has been managing business ventures in Poland and on foreign markets. He specializes in business management, investments, mergers and acquisitions, as well as strategies for foreign expansion in particular. In his career, he has successfully held the position of President and Member of the Management Board of companies from the following sectors: ICT, TSL, aviation, finance and banking (including Schenker Sp. z o.o., LOT S.A., Aviva S.A., Expander Advisors Sp. z o.o., Burietta Sp. z o.o.- Inelo Group). His professional experience also includes cooperation with Private Equity funds, including Trinity Management and Innova Capital, on behalf of which he held supervisory and management functions in the bodies of portfolio companies, and was responsible for the increase in their value and capital exits.

Mr. Andrzej Oślizło does not conduct activity competitive to the company, does not participate in a competitive company as a partner in a civil law partnership or a partnership or as a member of a body of a capital company, does not participate in any other competitive legal person as a member of its body and is not listed in the Register of Insolvent Debtors maintained pursuant to the Act on the National Court Register, he informed the developer in his announcement.

Successful third quarter

In the third quarter of 2020. Develia sold 358 units, compared to 310 a year ago. In the three quarters of this year, the company sold 781 units, compared to 928 units in the same period of 2019. The poorer result y/y for the three quarters is mainly due to the beginning of the second quarter, when due to the outbreak of the pandemic, the sale of new flats slowed down significantly.
