Erbud became actively involved in the fight against the pandemic and decided to donate, among others, two ventilators to the District Health Centre in Brzeziny. The company was also forced to close its construction sites in Belgium.
Donation for 210,000 PLN
“As a society, we are now in a very difficult situation that requires the commitment of each of us. I hope that we will pass this test positively and this will strengthen us as a community, otherwise we will all feel the negative effects. As a company we have added our contribution to help the hospitals and bought two ventilators for hospital in Brzeziny. In turn, our Foundation, which helps children’s homes on a daily basis, provided them with personal protective equipment: disinfectants, masks and gloves. – said Dariusz Grzeszczak, president of Erbud.
Apart from the ventilators, the company also provided the hospital with an ultrasound, nebulization sets and 20 bronchoscopes. The total value of the donation is about 210,000 PLN.
Closing of construction sites
Due to the spread of coronavirus, the principals have decided to close Erbud’s construction sites in Belgium by 5 April 2020, with the possibility of extending this period. As a result, 266 employees will return to the country and will be quarantined for 14 days.
For the time being, all other projects carried out by the company are progressing as planned, but the pandemic may have an impact on the failure to meet the deadlines for completion of the contracts.
