Nearly PLN 247 million is worth the contract for the design and construction of a 17-kilometre section of the Gostyń bypass in the course of national road No. 12 in Wielkopolska. The contract was signed on 30 June 2021 at the GDDKiA branch in Poznań.

The contract for the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways will be executed by a consortium of Mirbud S.A. (leader) and Kobylarnia S.A. (partner). Under the task, a Gostyń by-pass of the GP class (main road of accelerated traffic) of the length of 17 km and cross-section of one carriageway, one lane in each direction, and sectionally one direction will be widened by another lane, will be designed and then constructed.

The contract was signed by the President of the Management Board of MIRBUD S.A. Jerzy Mirgos.

– This is the first contract of this type on Mirbud’s part in Wielkopolska. We are glad, that also here we can mark our presence. In the implementation of the task, close location of the bitumen plant of our subsidiary Kobylarnia S.A. will be helpful. – says President Mirgos.

The deadline for completing the task is 36 months from the date of signing the contract. Winter periods during the construction works (16 December – 15 March) are not included in the contract completion time. This means that the Gostyn bypass will be ready in the first quarter of 2025.
