Erbud has concluded a contract for the expansion of a marina in Błotnik in the Pomeranian province. This is the first contract acquired by the newly created Hydrotechnical Construction Division within the Group.
According to the contract, Erbud will, among other things, expand the existing fixed and floating jetties and rebuild and adapt the old pumping station building for service purposes. The order completion time has been set at 240 days. The works are to commence at the end of the current sailing season. The net value of the order amounts to PLN 3.3 million. – The redevelopment of the marina in Błotnik is the biggest investment of this year for the commune of Cedry Wielkie, important for the development of tourism in the area. From our perspective, it is a technologically interesting project, enriching our credentials,” comments Przemysław Preiss, Director of Erbud’s Hydrotechnical Construction Branch.
Hydrotechnical construction market is one of the strategic expansion directions of the Erbud Group. The Group aims at executing the most complex projects in this area, allowing full use of Erbud’s rich know-how from other areas of construction. – We highly assess the prospects for this market. The value of planned public investments in this area, to be executed by 2028, is estimated at up to PLN 45 billion. This consists of projects of strategic importance for the country, addressing challenges such as climate change. We are interested both in implementing port projects and in inland investments related to river regulation, repair or construction of retention reservoirs. We also see development potential in retention based on private investments – comments Radosław Górski, Member of the Management Board of Erbud responsible for development in the area of hydraulic engineering.
