Krakow’s High5ive office building with an award

The second stage of High5ive – a Krakow investment implemented by Skanska – won the main prize of the Prime Property Prize 2020 competition in the Investment of the Year – Office Space Market category. Among other things, the quality and innovation of the project as well as the process of its commercialization were assessed. The award was granted during the Property Forum 2020 gala.

The Prime Property Prize competition was held for the ninth time. The idea behind this initiative is to select companies and projects that have had the greatest impact on events on the commercial real estate market in the last year, as well as people whose activities played a key role in the development of the entire industry.
By the decision of the voters, buildings No. 4 and 5, i.e. the second stage of the High5ive office complex developed by Skanska, won in the Investment of the Year category, Office Space Market. This award is granted to new or expanded office buildings and office complexes, the investment process of which was completed between September 2019 and September 2020. The assessment covers the quality and innovation of the project, investment implementation time, commercialization process, innovative solutions, architecture, and the impact of the investment on the environment and the region’s economy.
We often repeat that office buildings constructed by Skanska are synonymous with the highest quality. The Prime Property Prize 2020 for High5ive is the best confirmation of this – says Monika Tkacz, Leasing Manager at Skanska office company. – We are very pleased that High5ive has found recognition not only in the eyes of our clients and business partners, but also experts and people who are keenly interested in the office real estate market in Poland. High5ive office buildings have become a permanent element of the business landscape of Krakow. Great location and communication with all parts of the city are considered a big advantage. The project provides many amenities, incl. proprietary operating system Connected by Skanska. Thanks to it, employees will get to the building using only a special mobile application. A Scandinavian lobby, a concierge service, rich infrastructure for cyclists and a basketball court await tenants.
1,900 m2 was used in the second stage of the investment. anti-smog pavement made of green concrete. It reduces compounds that are harmful to humans from car exhaust fumes. The buildings are applying for the LEED Platinum certificate and the Object without Barriers certificate.
Stage II of the High5ive complex has provided nearly 37,000 m2 of modern office space.
