On 28 May 2019, the Supervisory Board of Herkules S.A. appointed Mariusz Zawisza to the Management Board of the company, at the same time entrusting him with the function of the President of the Management Board. The new position will be held on 13 June 2019.

New president

Mariusz Zawisza will replace Grzegorz Żółcik, CEO of Hercules, who was dismissed from this position on March 5, 2019. The company did not give any reason for this decision, and Konrad Miterski, sitting on the supervisory board, was delegated to perform the duties of a member of the management board at that time.

The new President is a graduate of the Faculty of Economics at the Maria Curie-Składowska University in Lublin, as well as postgraduate studies in International Accounting Standards, Management Accounting and Controlling. Since 2000, he has also held the title of Master of Business Administration. As an expert in finance, management, restructuring and improvement of business efficiency, he has worked in the supervisory boards of such companies as Elektrociepłownia Lublin Wrotków, EPC S.A., Exatel S.A., PGE Systemy S.A., Gaz Trading S.A. and Europolgaz S.A. in his career to date. Currently, Mariusz Zawisza is connected with Biomed Lublin S.A.

Good financial results in 2018

Hercules noted in 2018. PLN 7.28m consolidated net profit attributable to equity holders of the parent, compared to PLN 1.97m a year earlier. Consolidated revenue from sales reached PLN 133.75m, compared to PLN 128.81m in 2017.

Hercules is a company providing equipment services in the field of rental of lifting equipment and the implementation of oversized transport. It also provides construction and assembly services related to the construction of buildings, wind farms, energy and telecommunication facilities.
