Mostostal Warszawa is a subcontractor for the construction of Ostroleka C Power Plant

The offer of Mostostal Warszawa has been pre-selected by GE Power to carry out a subcontracting task for the construction of a power plant in Ostroleka. The value of the offer amounts to over PLN 600m.
The Management Board of Mostostal has been notified by GE Power of the preliminary selection for the execution of construction works for the Ostrołęka C Power Plant with a capacity of approx. 1000 MW – Package V30, V32 and V33. The value of the submitted offer amounts to PLN 609m net.
The Communication indicates that this is not yet the final decision. The selection and confirmation of the final terms of the contract requires further agreement with GE Power, the general contractor and the investor’s consent.
Ostroleka C Power Plant
The general contractor for the investment is the GE Power consortium and Alstom Power System. The total value of the investment is about PLN 6bn gross. According to the project, Ostroleka C power unit with a capacity of 1000 MW will be built.
On the construction site, the concreting of deep foundations in the boiler foundation area has started in recent weeks. This year, an intensification of activities on the construction site is planned. The new unit is to be ready in 2023.
