Oknoplast invests in production capacity

The Oknoplast Group is starting to expand its production plant near Krakow, which will allow to increase the level of automation and production capacity.
New plant near Krakow
The extension of the plant near Kraków includes the construction of a new production and logistics complex with an area of 16,000 m2 . The investment is being built in Ochmanow with the support of the Krakow Technology Park.
Within the framework of the project, the production of aluminium and PVC products will be expanded and automated. There will also be a modern logistics centre for sorting and packing goods and picking window accessories. The office space will also be expanded. The expansion will improve the efficiency of production and logistics and warehouse processes, which will allow to increase the production capacity of the plant by more than 30%. The project completion date is planned for March 1, 2024.
Record financial results in 2018
In 2018, the Oknoplast Group achieved a turnover of PLN 720m. Approximately 75% of revenues were generated on foreign markets. The plan for this year assumes sales at the level of PLN 777m. The company’s strategy assumes increasing revenues and exceeding the PLN 1bn limit in 2021. The company currently operates on 13 markets and employs over 1,850 people.
Oknoplast is one of the largest European manufacturers of PVC windows and doors. The company in its group consists of three factories and three brands, which are present in different market segments.
