The company Polskie Domy Drewniane (PDD) cooperates with Polish sawmills and plants producing structural timber. The aim will be, among others, to strengthen sales of products and services of these companies. Thanks to this, PDD will begin to implement one of its missions, which is to support companies and build strong foundations for the wood construction industry in Poland. PDD has already signed the first cooperation agreement with the Andrewex Wood Processing Group.
– We want to make the most of the potential of the wood and construction industry. For this to happen, we need to start by working with entrepreneurs who create these market sectors and often, due to the high competition, look for partners to help them promote their products and services. We want to be just such a partner who supports entrepreneurs and together with them creates the wood construction industry. We treat this as one of our major missions – says Tomasz Szlązak, President of the Management Board of Polskie Dom Drewni S.A.
Industry cooperation
Entrepreneurs from the wood and construction industry sector operate in a very competitive environment, therefore PDD, apart from its business activity, will carry out a mission focused on supporting both branches of the economy: wood and construction.
First of all, on a partnership basis, PDD invites sawmills and structural timber production plants to contact us. The aim is to support sales of products and services of partner companies. Within the framework of the cooperation, an online platform will be created on PDD’s website, where the wood construction technologies available on the market will be presented. In the future, Polish Wood Houses are planning to establish an association of Polish companies from the wood and construction industry and to build a protective umbrella to protect their interests.
First cooperation agreement
In May PDD sent letters inviting to cooperation to parts of sawmills and structural timber plants.
The first company with which Polskie Domy Drewniane signed a cooperation agreement is Grupa Przetwórstwa Drzewnego Andrewex. They are family businesses that have been operating in the wood industry for over 30 years.
– We have been operating in the wood industry for several decades and we see the need to integrate cooperation on this market and develop solutions that will support Polish entrepreneurship. Therefore, we did not hesitate to sign a cooperation agreement with PDD. We hope that this is the beginning of the road to creating strong foundations for the wood construction sector in Poland – says Sebastian Paradowski, CEO of Andrewex Group.
