Piotr Malepszak as the new President of CPK

Piotr Malepszak has become the new president of the special purpose vehicle for the construction of the Central Transport Port (CPK). He replaced Jacek Bartosik, who resigned for personal reasons. The decision in this matter was made by the supervisory board of the special purpose vehicle CPK, which will soon begin the procedure of electing a new president, Piotr Malepszak has so far been present on the management board of the company and was responsible for the railway part of the entire investment.
Previously, he worked for PKP PLK, where he was responsible for, among other things, revitalization of railway lines. He was also a member of the Lower Silesian Railways Management Board. Currently, the CPK company is managed by a three-person management board. Apart from Piotr Malepszak, the company’s management board is also composed of the following members: Dariusz Sawicki responsible for the airport part and Michal Wrona dealing with financial issues.
CPK is to be one of the largest airports in Europe, with a target of about 100 million passengers per year. Preparatory works will continue until the end of 2019, while its construction is to last until the end of 2027.
