PFR Nieruchomości starts the recruitment process for the apartments built for the market section part of the government housing program “Mieszkanie Plus”. The recruitment will cover a total of 1,040 apartments in Krakow, Radom, Dębica, Łowicz and Mińsk Mazowiecki, according to the fund’s statement.
Future recruitments include investments that will be completed this year or at the beginning of 2022. The recruitment will be carried out in close cooperation with the local governments of each town, according to their individually set criteria. According to Krystyna Wąchała-Malik, the member of the management board of PFR Nieruchomości, the local governments know the needs of their communities best. The adopted resolutions most often reward those who are excluded from the commercial market for various reasons; seniors, people with disabilities, families with children, young people at the start of their lives – which coincides with the company’s mission.
The allocation will be based on a point system, the number of which will depend on factors such as family situation, the place of residence as well as the place where the candidate pays their taxes, age, and even education. More detailed information can be found on the announcement published in the Public Information Bulletins of the individual local governments. In addition to the recruitment section overseen by the local governments, the applicants will be verified in terms of their rental capacity and reviewed in BIG InfoMonitor.
Since the beginning of 2020, PFR Nieruchomości has launched two recruitment processes for apartments, the first of which includes recruitment for 513 apartments in the Nowy Nikiszowiec estate in Katowice, where there were over four applicants for one apartment. The second such location is Świdnik, where recruitment will last until April 15, and the number of applicants is almost 800 applications for 108 places.
PFR Nieruchomości S.A is a leader on the institutional rental market in Poland. The company has 1,000 flats that are ready and 2,500 under construction as the market section of the government housing program, as well as about 2,000 flats in the Housing Fund for Rent in the largest Polish cities.
