CitySpace, the flexible office operator, has a new managing director. She is Lisa Zettlin, who stands out for her extensive experience and high competence in management and development. Her assumption of the new position is a crowning achievement during a period of exceptionally active expansion of CitySpace in Poland.
Lisa Zettlin, who took up the position of Managing Director on 1st of May, has been working for CitySpace for 3 years. Previously, she worked on the position of Head of Business Development. In this role, she was responsible for expansion, project management and marketing strategy.
– Last three years were a period of dynamic development. During this time we have doubled our office space and the number of positions we manage in Poland. The introduction of hot-desks to the portfolio, a mobile application with on-demand services and the expansion of the team with completely new competences were also huge successes – says Lisa Zettlin. – In recent years, the company has been prepared for dynamic scaling and thorough digitalization of operational processes. CitySpace has become even more flexible and ready for further expansion, which we plan for the coming months and years, she emphasizes.
In her previous role, Lisa Zettlin’s responsibilities also included leading transformational and strategic projects such as rebranding, product development and market repositioning in relation to design and marketing.
20 years of management experience
Lisa Zettlin has nearly 20 years of experience managing international marketing, sales and product teams. Prior to joining CitySpace, she worked in various management positions at Atlas Copco, an international industrial company. This company is one of the global leaders in providing assembly solutions for the aerospace, automotive and energy industries. At Atlas Copco, Lisa Zettlin held international roles in Russia and Eastern Europe. Her most recent position included working at the Swedish headquarters as Business Development Manager for the General Industry division. Responsibilities in this role included global segment management, sales and marketing of industrial solutions for the agriculture, construction and mining equipment customer segments (annual budget approximately $50 million), as well as leading a team of key account managers and business development in marketing and product portfolio management.
Lisa Zettlin graduated from KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm with a degree in materials engineering. She completed her MBA at Stockholm School of Economics. She is a Swedish citizen living in Warsaw. She speaks four languages: Swedish (mother tongue), English, Polish and Russian.
An important step on the road to expansion
Lisa Zettlin takes over the position of managing director from Jarosław Bator, who, while remaining within Echo Investment, will now focus on the development of Resi4Rent, a company which provides residential products for rent.
The change in the position of managing director is another step in strengthening CitySpace’s position on the Polish market of flexible office operators. In April the operator launched a new office center in Face2Face Business Campus in Katowice, and later this year it will open another one in Wroclaw. The next expansions are planned for next year. These will be two new investments in cities where the operator is present, and the entry into new regional markets.
Second important personnel change
The new managing director is one of two high-level changes in CitySpace’s personnel structure. In March the position of finance director was taken by Agnieszka Dębińska, a graduate of Warsaw School of Economics, certified auditor, who can boast several years of experience in finance departments of companies such as: Legia Training Center, HP and PwC.
CitySpace manages flexible offices in five Polish cities: Warsaw, Wroclaw, Katowice, Krakow and Gdansk. It currently has a total of 11 office locations in these cities.
