Echo Investment has completed works on the construction of the first stage of the West 4 Business Hub office complex. The building has been put into use. Sii Poland employees were the first tenants to move into their new headquarters in Wroclaw.
The Wroclaw office market has increased its space by another 15,500 m2. The construction of the first stage of West4 Business Hub, which started in February 2019, was crowned with the August use permit. Thus, a five-storey office building with a white facade, distinguished from the already completed Echo Investment office buildings – West Gate and West Link, started work, and with it the employees of Sii Poland, one of the largest employers in the Polish IT industry.
– The first completed office building of the West 4 Business Hub complex is the implementation of our strategy of creating modern office projects along Na Ostatnim Groszu Street. We provide the Wroclaw office market with a well-designed, but above all safe work space. West 4 Business Hub is our second investment, after the Warsaw office building at the Villa Office, which started in times of an epidemiological threat and whose implementation schedule, despite the difficult reality, has not changed. Thanks to this, the employees of our tenant, Sii, could start working in it on time. As owners of office buildings, we want to use all possible tools that will contribute to enhancing the sense of comfort of our tenants. Thanks to the implemented “Five for Security” program and other technological solutions, our tenants’ employees will be able to feel safe in them – says Katarzyna Kubicka, regional director in the offices department of Echo Investment.
Health and safety priority
“Five for Safety” is the program for the West 4 Business Hub office building. It contains a series of policies and procedures centered around five areas: disinfection, protection, distancing, information and communication. There are, among others such recommendations as disinfection of common areas every 30 minutes, gloves and masks available at the reception, “clean in & clean out” rules for all employees of the building and service, recommendation of one-way traffic (entering the elevator, leaving the exit stairs), dedicated furniture arrangement in common areas or transparent information about disinfection and cleaning in common areas, such as reports in a visible place.
West 4 Business Hub is also one of the first buildings where Echo Investment installs special systems influencing the air quality in the building. These devices purify the air, drawing on solutions naturally occurring in nature. The technology can be used without any problems during normal use of the building, when people are there. Thanks to its application, ventilation systems will not transmit viruses, toxic fungi, mold, bacteria in the air, so that tenants’ employees will not inhale harmful pathogens and pollutants. Soon, employees will also be able to use a mobile application that will not only improve the use of the office building, but also reduce the need to touch many elements in the space.
